Members are aloud to have one character per account. Each accounts user name needs to be the name of your character, there is no official limit on characters aka no limit on the number of accounts. This is not meant to annoy you, but it does allow staff to keep track of each separate character more easily.
However there is a ten post rule. Every time you create a new character, you must have written at least ten "In Character" posts with that account before you can create an account for another.
